Israeli defense contractor Elbit Systems has disclosed performance statistics for the Tzayad digital army program, highlighting its role in recent regional conflicts. According to a presentation delivered by the company at the International Armoured Vehicles conference in London, the system was instrumental in identifying approximately 850,000 potential targets during the first two years of the wars in Gaza and Lebanon.
Real-Time Data Integration
The Tzayad system, which serves as a primary command and control platform for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), processes vast amounts of real-time data to map individuals, vehicles, and other objects. Elbit representatives noted that the technology enabled the identification of roughly 1,000 new targets per day, covering all active military theaters from October 7, 2023, through the end of 2025.
This revelation underscores the increasing reliance on digital network systems to facilitate decision-making and operational targeting within modern warfare. Elbit Systems, recognized as Israel’s largest arms supplier, continues to market the Tzayad program as a critical tool for generating comprehensive situational awareness on the battlefield.
