However, letting agents are working to clarify that this is not the case. While the legal adjustments may require landlords to reasonably consider tenant requests for pets, they do not constitute a blanket mandate forcing property owners to approve every application. Landlords still retain the ability to refuse under specific circumstances outlined by the law.
